What is the difference between a true orphan and a social orphan?

An orphan is a child who has no living parents, while a social orphan has been removed from the care of their parent or parents due to government intervention or parental request. Often social orphans struggle to move on after a childhood of abuse, neglect and abandonment.

Are there plans for Orphan’s Tree to work in countries other than Russia?

We never know what the future holds but for now we are committed to focusing only on Russia.
